The fish artwork on Folk Fish Studio apparel doesn’t begin as generic clip art or a stock fishing graphic.

The artwork comes from actual fish designs wood carved and block printed by artist Jason Smith of Morrow, Ohio.

Jason first creates the fish as a physical carving. The carved fish is then inked and block printed by hand, producing an original piece of fish art with the texture, character, and imperfections of traditional printmaking.

That handcrafted artwork is then transformed into the graphics used on Folk Fish Studio apparel.
