WATER WOLF — BORN FROM A 46-INCH NEW RIVER MUSKY
They don’t call them the Water Wolf for nothing.
This Folk Fish Studio design started with a real 46-inch muskellunge caught on the New River on a fly.
What fly?
Top secret.
We’re apparently allowed to put the fish on a T-shirt. We’re just not allowed to tell you what fooled it.
The trophy musky was recreated as an original custom fish carving in 2025. That hand-crafted mount became the foundation for the artwork featured on this Water Wolf Musky T-Shirt.
Real fish. Original carving. One very closely guarded fly pattern.
FROM TROPHY MUSKY TO FOLK FISH ART
A 46-inch musky on any tackle is a fish worth remembering.
A 46-inch musky on a fly?
That’s the kind of fish story that deserves its own shirt.
Rather than beginning with stock fish artwork, the musky in this design traces directly back to the original trophy mount. The shape, character, and attitude of that New River fish were translated from the carving into wearable Folk Fish Studio artwork.
The result is Water Wolf — a shirt celebrating one of freshwater fishing’s most intimidating predators.
FOLK FISH STUDIO — MORROW, OHIO
At Folk Fish Studio, our designs are inspired by real fish, original carvings, time on the water, and the stories that come with them.
Water Wolf carries that tradition from a 46-inch New River musky, to an original trophy carving, and finally to a fishing shirt.
The fish is real.
The story is real.
The fly is none of your business.
