The Acadian Red Head Folk Fish Hoodie carries more than original fish artwork—it carries a piece of the Folk Fish Studio story.
The fish featured on this hoodie was originally hand carved and hand painted by artist Jason Smith of Morrow, Ohio, for a very special trip Jason and his wife, Kristin, took to Acadia National Park in September 2025.
The reason for the trip?
Their 25th wedding anniversary.
And somewhere during that adventure to Maine, another idea began taking shape—one that would eventually turn Jason’s fish carvings into something fishermen could wear.
THE ACADIAN RED HEAD
The Acadian Red Head design preserves the distinctive handcrafted character of Jason’s original painted carving.
The larger fish artwork across the back showcases the colors and personality of the original Folk Fish, while the embroidered chest detail keeps the front clean and understated.
It’s a comfortable layer for cool mornings on the water, evenings around fishing camp, weekends at the cabin, coastal adventures, national park trips, or simply wherever the next adventure takes you.
And if someone asks about the fish on the back?
There’s a real story to tell them.
