The Night Rangers Mahi Mahi Hoodie from Folk Fish Studio combines offshore fishing attitude with original fish artwork that started long before it ever ended up on a sweatshirt.

The mahi featured in this design come from original custom trophy fish carvings created by artist Jason Smith of Morrow, Ohio.

These aren’t stock fish illustrations or generic computer graphics.

They started as actual pieces of handcrafted fish art.

FROM CUSTOM TROPHY CARVINGS TO BLOCK-PRINTED ART

Before these mahi ever appeared on a Folk Fish Studio hoodie, Jason created them as custom trophy carvings for fishermen.

Each fish was individually carved by hand as an original piece of artwork.

Jason then took those original mahi carvings and used them to create block prints, transferring the character and details of the hand-carved fish into a completely different art form.

Those block prints became the foundation for the mahi artwork featured in the Night Rangers design.
